HOME LAND

16 JULY - 7 AUGUST 2016

10AM - 4PM WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY (& BY APPOINTMENT)

OPENING 2PM – 4PM  SATURDAY 16 JULY 2016

“The key, held tight to the heart and the gut, cannot be taken or trampled to a piece of dust. In some vivid dream, it opens the door to home. It speaks, “you can go home.”*

In these works, I have attempted to express the concept of families living with the dichotomy of being locked in and locked out – of home, land and a normal life.

I would hope that the viewer is made aware that a house is a home and that home is forever linked to the land. And the heart.
