“The key, held tight to the heart and the gut, cannot be taken or trampled to a piece of dust. In some vivid dream, it opens the door to home. It speaks, “you can go home.”*
In these works, I have attempted to express the concept of families living with the dichotomy of being locked in and locked out – of home, land and a normal life.
I would hope that the viewer is made aware that a house is a home and that home is forever linked to the land. And the heart.

Tony works in a range of art forms – figurative and assemblage sculpture, painting, works on paper and mixed media. His work is primarily concerned with the human condition expressed through a subtle layering of meaning and emotion.
