FULL CIRCLE

11 MARCH - 1 APRIL 2017

10AM - 4PM, TUESDAY TO SATURDAY (& SUNDAY 12 MARCH)

We are delighted to have Katherine Mahoney, Ceramist to officially launch the exhibition at 3pm, Saturday 11 March 2017, in association with ART MONTH SYDNEY and OPEN STUDIOS WEEKEND at HEADLAND PARK ARTIST PRECINCT.

Ceramics for me is about the purity of form.  I endeavour to imbue my pots with calm, harmony and balance.

My latest body of work is influenced by a recent trip to the ancient Japanese ceramic town of Hagi.

I have tried to recapture the essence of the ancient white Hagi glaze to give my pots a sense of timelessness.

The surfaces of the pots show the versatile and unpredictable nature of the glaze.
