Messages from the Bays acknowledges continuing Aboriginal cultural traditions of taking care of place and draws from romantic interventions of various colonial visionaries and the insights and actions of environmentalists, scientists and land care workers through layers of time and habitation.

Join Toni Warburton as she talks about the development of her ideas for this installation exhibition – an ART MONTH SYDNEY event.

Toni Warburton is an artist, educator, writer and curator whose primary discipline is ceramics and installation amplified by drawing. Based in Sydney she exhibits widely in Australia as well as internationally. Her work is represented in most major public collections including the National Gallery of Australia, the Art Gallery of Western Australia and the National Gallery of Victoria as well as private collections in Australia, Britain and India.
