As a resident of the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Ceramicist, Sasa Scheiner is very connected to the sea.

As Sasa says, “My work has pure sensual forms inspired by the sea. They have an entirely unique surface resulting from years of technical research using various aggregates and ash glazes.”

The shapes and surfaces invite the viewer to engage in a tactile response.

Sasa is excited about her new work which will be exhibited along with the beautiful contemporary Japanese ceramics of Kiyoshi Ando.
